Matter of change in the examination time of standard 9 to 12
Big news for school students / Changes in the timing of the first exam of standard 9 to 12.
The Board of Education has changed the time and course structure of the main subjects in Gujarat Std-9 to 12 which are to be taken from the Board's question papers. According to which June / August course will be 100% and September course will be 50% wise.
The examination for the first session of next standard 9 to 12 will start from 18th October. Examination question papers of major subjects including Mathematics, Science, English and Accounts, Biology, Physics, Chemistry will be prepared from the board level and sent to the schools of each district. While the examination papers of the remaining subjects will be prepared from the school or SVS level.
According to the previously announced schedule, Std. 9 and 11 had examinations from 11 am to 1 am. With the change it will now be taken from 10:30 to 12:30 in the morning, while the standard 10 and 12 exams which were earlier from 11 to 2 will now be taken from 2 to 5. There will be a two-hour exam in 9-11 and a three-hour exam in 10-12.
In the meantime, the board has announced a composition including a mass chapter-course. According to which the examination is to be taken. There will be 100% course from June to August and only 50% course from September. From this year onwards, the papers of both the first and second examinations in Basic and Standard Mathematics applicable in Std. 10 will remain the same. No separate changes will be made. No changes will be made at the school level.
