The Class 10th Board result has been released around 02:00 pm today at CBSE's official websites — cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. The CBSE Class 10 Board Exams were conducted at 6,000 centres across India and abroad from February 21 to March 29, 2019. Around 18,27,472 students registered for the Class 10 examinations this year.
A total of 31,14,831 students registered for 2019 CBSE Class 10th and 12th examinations.
According to a press release issued by CBSE last month, 5,69,696 candidates had registered for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations from Delhi.
This year maximum female candidates (2,72,271) appeared from Delhi and the maximum male candidates (3,38,613) appeared from Uttar Pradesh (UP).
In 2018, 16.38 lakh students appeared for the class 10 board exams. The CBSE announced the Class 10 result on May 29 at 4 pm. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 86.07 per cent.
The CBSE had released the Class XII results on Thursday, May 2, 2019. In the Class 12th results, the CBSE schools showed improvement as it had recorded a pass percentage of 91.87 per cent.
